Parkside High’s success with young people is dependent upon the strong commitment of our volunteers. We chose to recruit volunteers as they are as diverse as the children we work with.
Volunteers often have the life experience in which a child from the local area can relate to. Our Volunteers work with us to support children and young people for many different reasons, but most of all because they would like to make a difference in a child’s life.
We also recognise that people benefit from volunteering as it gives them experience to pursue a career in a similar field. No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to help and support children and young people who need extra encouragement and attention.
We would like to hear from anyone who shares our values and could potentially offer spare time to us. This being a few hours for special events or regular hours per week.
If you would like to know more and to see if volunteering is for you, please make contact with us.

Parkside High works closely with and is responsible for children and young people. Safeguarding and protecting their welfare is our priority. We have a robust safer recruitment policy and any successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.
